Elizabeth is an experienced leader in the education and skills sector who specialises in policy, practice and funding. Her current role is Assistant Director in East Sussex, with responsibility for education strategy across early years, schools and post 16. This includes strategic leadership for sector-led improvement, employability and skills, inclusion, and special educational needs. 

Elizabeth previously worked as at the Learning and Skills Council where she had a broad portfolio of responsibilities for the performance and funding of colleges and post-16 providers. 

She is passionate about the delivery of high quality, public services that serve the needs of local communities.
