Strategy Health Lead (City Planning)

Ric has 35 years' experience in land use planning, transport planning, and sustainability in five councils in England and Scotland. As Strategic Health Lead for City Planning at the City of Wolverhampton Council, Ric leads on addressing the links between public health and planning covering areas relating to health and wellbeing such as the council's Open Space and Playing Fields Strategy, the Black Country Core Strategy review, air quality, and housing. 


He is a member of the Black Country Local Enterprise's Green Growth Group where he helps to lead on low-emission vehicles, low-carbon, and renewable energy, the Smart City agenda, and other low-carbon areas for the four Black Country boroughs.
