Driving Good Governance Throughout The Public Sector

Online 31 May 2022, 9:00am - 3:00pm

Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented an enormous challenge to public sector organisations, individuals and communities.  It has also accelerated transformation in many areas and demonstrated that different tiers of governance cannot tackle complex problems in isolation.

The recovery phase presents opportunities to reset long-term strategies and develop a consistent and coordinated approach to governance.  By developing strong governance processes, public sector organisations can build trust with their communities and develop policies to implement reform. They can also demonstrate that decisions taken are the right ones for their communities.

This event will investigate how governance can be optimised in public sector organisations to improve public sector services and meet the needs of local communities.  It will examine how risk management can be embedded into organisations to foster an open and transparent environment and how to ensure accountability and transparency in annual reporting.

Attendees will hear addresses from senior bodies and case studies demonstrating success from organisations across local government, education and healthcare.

We have a limited number of sponsored speaking and branding opportunities available. Complete the partnership enquiry form or email [email protected] for more information.
