Developing Integrated Care Systems for the Future 2023

Online Conference 8 February 2023, 9:00am - 3:00pm

Overview

In November 2022, during his autumn statement, the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced an independent review to consider the oversight and governance of integrated care systems (ICSs). This concluded with the publication of the Hewitt Review on April 4th 2023, which had been led by former Secretary of State, Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt. A central theme throughout the review is the need to strengthen collaboration at the local level and ensure that the breadth of partnership within ICSs is mirrored nationally.

The ICS model aims to improve patient outcomes and experiences by collaborating between health and social care services such as hospitals, primary care, and social care.

With joined-up care, healthcare inequalities can be addressed at both an individual and community level. By working more closely together, healthcare providers can deliver better outcomes for patients whilst managing public money and resources more efficiently.

Are you interested in learning more about ICS and its role in addressing the challenges facing the healthcare system in the coming years? ICSs are a core part of the NHS Long-Term Plan. The Integrated  Care System conference will explore the benefits of integrated care, the role of partnerships and collaboration, and the impact of new systems on patient outcomes.

Join us for the conference to explore the impact of ICS on healthcare providers, patients, and the wider community. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn more about this game-changing legislative change in the NHS.
