Dean Jenkins is the Head of Security Operations & Incident Response within the Civil Service at Ofwat, responsible for protecting critical services through integrated cyber defence, threat monitoring, and incident response. 

A senior security leader with over two decades of experience,  Dean has built and led security operations across government, critical national infrastructure, and global logistics environments. His background spans cyber security, insider threat, counter terrorism, physical security, loss prevention and enterprise risk, giving him a unique perspective on converged security in modern organisations.

Dean is particularly focused on aligning security strategy with business outcomes—ensuring organisations can effectively manage risk while enabling operational resilience. He is recognised for providing calm, decisive leadership during major incidents and for translating complex technical threats into clear, executive-level insight.
