Online Conference 27 October 2022, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Leo has spent most of his career working with and campaigning for the rights of autistic people, particularly in the workplace using the power of his lived experience to highlight the need for change and the means by which it can be achieved.
He is in his third professional role at the National Autistic Society and fourth year as a job coach, having previously been a Participation Support Officer for six years. Prior to re-joining the National Autistic Society, he worked at Disability Rights UK on campaigns to create job opportunities for disabled people. Before going into the third sector he was a clerical assistant for the Environmental Health Department of Uttlesford District Council. Leo is a former Employee of the Year for the National Autistic Society and outside of work his hobbies include poetry, campaigning, writing and watching films, as well as manga and anime.
