Online Conference 27 October 2022, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Neurodiversity is an integral part of human diversity and is an invaluable part of the workplace. Neurodiversity is an umbrella term that includes many non-dominant neurotypes such as autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, OCD, and Dyspraxia. The shift in attitudes around neurodiversity is vital in creating an inclusive and diverse workforce. Neurodiversity should be accepted and celebrated in the same way gender or ethnicity should be.
Following the success of IGPP's Progressing Neurodiversity at Work event, this event will examine the key barriers facing neurodiverse individuals in the workplace and how these can be removed to ensure a supportive and successful environment. We will consider the need for more inclusive and innovative recruitment processes and career development, one that supports neurodiverse talent. The event will look to give delegates a better understanding of neurodivergence and explore the benefits of having neurodiverse employees in the organisation, through a series of keynote presentations, case studies and lived experiences.
