From a background in banking, finance and consumer service innovation, the variable healthcare provided to his family drew him into the public sector.  Joining the NHS Torbay Care Trust, one of the pioneer integrated health and social care trusts at the point of its inception in 2005 he moved into local government a decade later to pursue an expanded agenda for capacity development in care and support, early intervention and prevention.   Having worked with organisations across the country he remains committed to the principles of valuing, appreciating and releasing the assets offered by the people within complex (adaptive) systems along with the overarching goal of wellbeing for all.
