Dr Laura Florez-Perez is an Associate Professor in the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at UCL. She completed her PhD in Building Construction at the Georgia Institute of Technology, US. She is an author of over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Her research interests are broadly in the areas of construction management and engineering with a focus on decision support systems and information technologies for productivity and process improvement. Prior to moving to the UK, she worked as project manager in Pyramid Masonry in the US and as an engineer in Proyectos & Diseños (PYD) in Colombia.
