Melanie is a Senior Digital Consultant at BIM Academy, specialising in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and information management according to ISO 19650. She manages several projects across multiple sectors within the UK and internationally, and works closely with clients to develop bespoke digital strategies for project and asset management. Melanie’s interests include change management, standardisation, and digital collaboration, and also acts as Regional Lead for Newcastle-upon-Tyne for Women in BIM. Her key projects include leading on the implementation of the Standard Information Management Plan across the Scottish public sector and Learning Estates Investment Programme, acting as strategic project lead for Fraser Health Authority in Vancouver, and project lead for the Hellas Gold Digital Information Management Strategy in Athens. Melanie also holds a PhD from Edinburgh Napier University.
