Caroline is Head of National Professional Qualifications Policy and is part of the leadership team for teacher development at the Department for Education (DfE).

Caroline has been at the DfE for over 10 years and in that period has worked on child poverty, early years, school workforce strategy, apprenticeships and teacher training policy and delivery.

Prior to joining the department, Caroline worked at Kent County Council and Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council in education policy and service improvement.
