Kath Moore has over 30 years experience of working in the construction industry. She is a qualified carpenter, who has worked on site, ran her own business, and taught carpentry. She was instrumental in setting up and delivering the Women Into Construction project on the Olympic Park, and following the success of this project, developed Women Into Construction (WIC), a community interest company supporting women to work in the construction and infrastructure industries, and construction companies wishing to increase gender diversity within their work-force. WIC now works across London, Cambridgeshire, Essex and the West-Midlands, and has supported over 3,000 women with training and work-placements, brokering over 1,000 of these into paid employment.

Kath believes passionately in encouraging and supporting women to participate and build careers in these exciting, rewarding, and well-paid industries. In 2018 Kath received an MBE for services to the construction industry.
