Dr Mary-Jane Budd is a Chartered Psychologist and Coach. As a Senior Lecturer at the University of East London, Mary-Jane teaches in the areas of Coaching Psychology and Positive Psychology as well as Research Methods and Neuroscience. Mary-Jane’s research focuses on investigating the cognitive aspects of peri-menopause and menopause with particular interest in memory and sleep using a variety of methods including experimental and electrophysiological (EEG) approaches. Mary-Jane runs a coaching practice which specializes in coaching women through menopause with a particular emphasis on alleviating the psychological symptoms of menopause. Mary-Jane is an advocate for opening up the conversation around menopause and has run a number of events and groups to highlight the need to break the taboo of talking all things menopause.
