Mark started his career working on climate change adaptation projects for Kent County Council, delivering visioning exercises to help Kent’s communities imagine and adapt to life with climate change. More recently, he worked on an adaptation catalyst tool to identify pathways to manage climate risks.

Mark developed a low carbon transport project at Wealden District Council and led on the development of the council’s EV Chargepoint procurement project. He developed an emissions reporting methodology and reviewed staff travel plans before moving to Energy Saving Trust.

At Energy Saving Trust, Mark leads work on the Transport Decarbonisation: Local Authority Toolkit and supports local authorities across the South East to decarbonise transport, improve air quality and increase electric vehicle adoption as part of the Local Government Support Programme.
