Throughout the workshop, you will explore transgender from biological, social, and historical viewpoints, delve into the experiences of trans lives, and understand what is involved in the gender transition process. You will also learn about trans language, including pronouns and practical tips for engaging with transgender people, and review transgender history and the law, including the Gender Recognition Act and Equality Act. By the end of the workshop, you will have gained greater insight into the transgender community, the issues they face, and practical skills to promote inclusivity and support transgender colleagues.
