Details

If you read some of the international studies on how much rework is costing the construction industry, these reports suggest that the measured direct costs of avoidable errors are approximately 5% of the project value. Working that figure into the wider market, this percentage adds up to approximately GBP 5 billion (USD 6.1 billion) per annum across the United Kingdom. If you then account for the number of profit warnings being issued, this value is a higher than the average profit levels of most of the contractors working in the tier-one market.

This Bentley White Paper explores how construction projects are becoming more complex and why a connected data environment is the solution.
