The Second Annual Transforming the NHS Estate Event 2022

The Kia Oval, London 29 September 2022, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Overview

The NHS Estates and Facilities professions are responsible for the management of an estate footprint of 24 million m² across the NHS in England.

Estates are at the centre of the Government’s plans for transforming the NHS and the largest hospital building plan in a generation was launched in 2019. It plans to deliver a long-term programme of investment in health infrastructure, with an investment of £2.8 billion for six large hospitals to be built by 2025. A further 21 schemes will be delivered between 2025 and 2030.

The Second Annual Transforming the NHS Estate Event 2022 will provide delegates with the latest policy updates regarding the current status of capital funding and the maintenance backlog. Case studies will give a practical insight into how NHS trusts have successfully implemented transformed estates in their regions.

Last year's Transforming the NHS Estate 2021 event featured presentations from representatives of NHS Estates Delivery Unit, NHS Shared Business Services, Department of Health and Social Care, University of East London, and more. Presenting Partners Arco, Gama Healthcare, Tio Fire Safety, and Hysopt shared industry insight and expertise via case study and seminar sessions.
