Jane Knight is the founder of Successful Mums Career Academy, an award-winning training company providing fully funded career advice and accredited back-to-work and enterprise training for mums.
One of the UK’s leading experts in the employability sector, Jane is a qualified teacher, coach and career advisor, as well as a mum of two school-aged children. Jane’s ethos of personal success – and belief that becoming a parent should enhance, not halt, your career – underpins Successful Mums, which has helped almost 7,000 women regain their confidence and return to work or start their own businesses since 2014. Jane and her Successful Mums team also work closely with employers to help them attract and retain skilled women returners, creating more diverse and inclusive teams.
Jane is a Fellow of the Institute of Employability Professionals, and has contributed to a number of Government policy papers, including the Women’s Equalities Paper. She currently sits on a number of digital forums across the UK that are helping to shape future policy around women returners and the workplace.
A believer in lifelong learning and professional excellence, Jane recently successfully completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme, run in partnership with the Saïd Business School at Oxford University and the Aston Centre for Growth at Aston University.
