Professor Jim McManus is director of Public Health at Hertfordshire County Council, interim president of the Association of Directors of Public Health, a CIEH vice president and a chartered psychologist. He led the Association of Directors of Public Health’s policy work on local outbreak plans and COVID-19 suppression and co-created the national public mental health collaborative for COVID-19.
