Jo Ikhelef has been the Chief Executive of Enfield Voluntary Action since 2017, following 10 years as the Development & Funding Advice Manager supporting grassroots charities.  As CEO, Jo has the responsibility of providing effective strategic leadership and a strong voice for EVA and the wider voluntary and community sector in Enfield.  The role involves effectively promoting volunteering, community action and active citizenship in the borough.  EVA facilitates a number of voluntary and community networks including a housing network, which brings together voluntary and statutory sector organisations to work together to prevent homelessness.  Jo completed her degree in Geography and Postgraduate Masters in European Political Economy at the University of Sheffield University, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisation and Community Development at London Metropolitan University and a Postgraduate Masters in Community Development and Urban Regeneration at Birbeck, University of London.
