Billy Huband-Thompson is an Associate at The Centre for Education and Youth (CfEY). He has worked on a range of projects at CfEY, including a large-scale consultation concerning the challenges facing marginalised 16-25 year-olds in Buckinghamshire, two mixed-methods evaluations of outdoor learning programmes, and a report concerning Covid’s impact on higher education outreach. As part of the policy strand, Billy tracks new policy developments and helps ensure CfEY’s reports and campaigns are driven by the best available evidence. He has written on education research and policy for various publications, including Schools Week, Times Higher Education and The Teaching Times. Billy holds a BSc from the University of Bristol and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge.
