Wasan Shoresh, Pre-Entry Programmes Administrator, University of East London.

I joined the Pre-Entry Programmes team in 2017 as an administrator, and I engage with and support mature learners from widening participation backgrounds; to remove any complex barriers to ease their transition into higher education. I provide pastoral support to learners and signpost them to relevant internal and external services. I work within a very supportive and successful team that champion widening participation. I am a product of UEL with obtaining my postgraduate degree, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
