Carl-Magnus Von Behr

University of Cambridge

Carl is a doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge, exploring how to enhance knowledge sharing among NHS Estates departments to enhance the resilience of hospital infrastructure. His research involves two stages: (i) multiple case studies in English NHS Trusts to investigate knowledge flow on medical oxygen pipeline systems during COVID-19 and (ii) a consensus study to identify the most relevant knowledge types and factors affecting knowledge sharing NHS Estates staff. These insights then inform the evaluation of appropriate channels and their optimal design to meet the identified knowledge needs of NHS Estates staff.

Carl obtained an M.Phil. in Industrial Systems, Manufacture, and Management from the University of Cambridge and worked as a Voluntary Process Engineer in the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, evaluating the medical oxygen pipeline systems during the first COVID-19 wave. He holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technical University Berlin, Germany.
