John is an executive leader in the Energy, Energy Transition and Industrial Decarbonisation sectors, with over 25 years experience in driving business growth and committed to a sustainable and net zero future.

John is currently the MD of Synergie Environ, part of the RSK Group.  Synergie is a Sustainable Consultancy focusing on Energy efficiency & Industrial Decarbonisation, Low Carbon Heating and Circular Economy including the generation of biogas and biofuels from waste.

John previously held executive positions at Ramboll, where he was the UK Country Manager for Energy, and at SSE where he spent over 13 years in various senior roles for SSE Generation and SSE Distributed Energy Businesses.
