Ellie is a Deputy Director for the Strategy, Planning and Budget Group of HM Treasury and has responsibility for leading the Darlington Leadership Team, which works to establish and build upon the success of the Darlington Economic Campus. She has previously worked in a variety of policy and delivery roles across government including in Cabinet Office, MHCLG, DEFRA and DCMS. Prior to joining the Civil Service, Ellie worked in event planning, charity fundraising, and local authority museums in the North-East.
