Chris Browell is a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Clinically, Chris has special interests in Major Upper GI surgery, Trauma, Regional anaesthesia, Neurosurgery and day case.

As founder and lead of the Perioperative Innovation Group, Dr Browell has driven a portfolio of successful trust-wide initiatives, shaping the vision and objectives of changing cultures within the theatre and hospital environment.

Dr Browell's extensive experience in quality improvement, innovation, and organisational change underpins his leadership of this work. In addition, as founder and director of A-LiNE, a national anaesthesia training organisation, he brings a proven track record in developing and sustaining high-impact educational and operational innovations.
