Becky Patel is Head of Education and Learning at Tech She Can where she leads the creation and delivery of engaging educational resources designed to inspire more young people to consider careers in technology. With over 10 years’ classroom teaching experience across both primary and secondary education, Becky is passionate about broadening children’s understanding of the opportunities available within the tech sector, particularly for girls and underrepresented groups.

Since joining Tech She Can in 2018, Becky has played a key role in leading the team of teachers who develop and deliver the charity’s Tech We Can resources, events, and experiences, supporting teachers, parents and students with accessible, inspiring content that connects technology to real-world careers. She is a strong advocate for early careers education and believes that “children can’t aspire to be what they don’t know exists.”
