Sarra Jenkins specialises in advising students, parents and schools on post-18 pathways. She is a qualified careers guidance practitioner, having completed a Masters with the University of Derby in Careers Guidance and Development. Her research focussed on widening participation to Higher Education, and understanding the differences in the values that parents and their children hold when making post-18 decisions. As a qualified teacher, she has taught Politics for 20 years, and is never far from a classroom! She has spoken at a number of conferences about engaging parents, the landscape of post-18 pathways and how to change the narrative surrounding them.
