Agnes Munday is Head of Training at Grassroots Suicide Prevention, where she leads the development and delivery of evidence-informed suicide prevention, self-harm and mental health training for diverse professional audiences. Her work includes specialist programmes on suicide prevention in the context of domestic abuse, workplace suicide prevention, primary care, and training for statutory, voluntary and community sector partners.
Agnes has extensive experience in curriculum design, e-learning, workforce development, quality assurance and strategic partnership-building, working with NHS, local authority, public health, VCSE and frontline services. She is a UKPHR-registered Public Health Practitioner and holds a Level 7 Senior Leadership qualification with distinction, a CMI Level 7 Award in Strategic Management, and a Professional PGCE in Post-16 Education.
Before joining Grassroots, Agnes worked in domestic abuse training and preventative education at RISE Brighton, where she designed and delivered professional training and co-developed Break4Change, an internationally recognised intervention addressing child-to-parent abuse. Prior to this, she worked in a Health Promotion and Training role in Substance Misuse Services and also ran a specialised service for teenage parents.
She brings a distinctive combination of suicide prevention expertise, domestic abuse knowledge, trauma-informed practice and applied training design.
