Dr Sasi Pathmanathan is a pioneering Consultant Vascular Perioperative Physician at the ⁠Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. A consultant geriatrician and general physician by training, she completed her medical specialisation in 2020 before establishing a groundbreaking clinical path. She is widely recognised as the first perioperative medical consultant in England to be directly employed by and embedded within a vascular surgical department.
