David is a senior marketing and communications professional with more than 25 years’ experience in public and private sector.
He started his career as a reporter in the local press, before joining the civil service as a MOD communications officer for Royal Air Force recruitment.
He an associate with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, gaining his diploma in September 2007, before taking the lead role as head of marketing for RAF recruitment.
After seven years in post, and nearly 14 years in the civil service, David joined local government in 2014, to lead communications for South Holland District Council in, Lincolnshire, before joining Socitm in May 2020.
