Caroline is a Research Assistant in the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Winchester. She is currently working in collaboration with the Virtual Health Hub Team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to design and conduct rapid mixed-methods evaluations of virtual care service developments and innovations. She is also leading research and evaluation of simulated placements for student health professionals in the faculty. Her PhD is in healthcare research methodology, and prior to focusing on her academic career she worked for several years as a research nurse in the NHS and clinically as an adult nurse in neurosciences. She is passionate about joining up research, clinical practice, and education to continuously develop knowledge and practice to rapidly address real-world health needs using creative and innovative approaches.
