Arfan is Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) at King's College Hospital NHS Trust, one of the country's largest and busiest teaching hospitals, primarily serving the London boroughs of Southwark, Lambeth and Bromley.

In 2021 King's made EDI one of our four headline ambitions for the entire organisation. Arfan leads on projects that turn this ambition into real, meaningful improvements for a local population of 1 million people and a workforce of around 15,000, most notably by developing and implementing King’s first Roadmap to Inclusion 2022-24. Prior to joining the NHS in 2018, Arfan was Head of EDI for the Liberal Democrats.
