Sebastian has over 15 years experience of working in and managing statutory community mental health services. He has led a diverse portfolio of services including substance misuse services, adult mental health teams, older adult mental health services and laterly an integrated learning disability service. Professionally, he is a qualified Social Worker and warranted Approved Mental Health Professional. He recently completed a Senior Leadership MBA with a chorot senior managers from the private and public sector. He is interested in the transformation agenda in mental health and innovation in service delivery to cope with growing demand, a changing landscape and diminishing financial resources.

He has some areas of special interest particularly in working with police on projects intersecting with mental health and substance misuse. He  was part of a pilot with Sussex police in developing a multi-agency cuckooing protocol to tackle the impact of 'county lines' drug dealing on vulnerable groups via a new multi-agency approach.
