Angela is currently working at the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, after receiving a two-year sponsorship, from Micro-tech-UK. She is employed as a Nurse Fellow & Project Lead, and currently working on the Green Nursing Challenge promoting sustainable nursing care in community & secondary care. She has a nursing background in Specialist Palliative Care, Intensive Care, Management and Teaching.

A Climate Change activist, Angela is passionate about engaging Health Care professionals in working sustainably, and in promoting the 'Climate Crisis' message in relation to public health. She successfully implemented the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare’s Green Team Competition at her previous Trust (The Christie Hospital, Manchester), and has presented widely on the subject of Sustainability in Healthcare. She has published articles on the Climate Emergency, and received awards for her work – at the Nursing Times Workforce awards in 2022, and the British Journal of Nursing awards in 2024.
