Dan Jacobs is Technical Director and Team Leader for Waste and Resource Management at Mott MacDonald. With a background in waste treatment and disposal, he uses his 19 years’ experience to help clients find sustainable solutions to waste management problems. He led in supporting NHS England’s response to the waste challenge brought about by Covid-19 and contributed to its recently published clinical waste strategy. Globally, he has stimulated systematic improvements in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. He is Mott MacDonald’s resident healthcare waste expert, is a chartered waste manager (MCIWM) and a member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA).
