Minesh joined the Rainbow Migration team in March 2024 to coordinate Policy and Public Affairs work. He has a background working in charity, political and public sector organisations, and previously worked as a Researcher for Labour’s Shadow Minister for Climate Change and Net Zero. He is also an elected local councillor.

Rainbow Migration exists to work towards an asylum and immigration system that treats LGBTQI+ people fairly and with dignity. We provide practical and social support and specialist legal advice for our service users seeking sanctuary and also carry out campaigning and policy work to improve the UK asylum system.
