Dr Ben Brindle is a Researcher at The Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford. He has authored a range of reports and articles on UK immigration policy, including on net migration to the UK, work visas, the labour market, visa and nationality fees, and the recent changes to Skilled Worker salary thresholds.
Ben is the Observatory’s spokesperson on several of these topics, and regularly gives expert interviews to major newspapers, and for television and radio.
Prior to joining The Migration Observatory, Ben worked for the International Organization for Migration (IOM). He holds a PhD (Economics) from the University of Brighton and an MSc (Social Research Methods) from the University of Southampton.
