David Woolley is the Director of Student and Community Engagement at Nottingham Trent University and the Co-Chair for the Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education (TASO).
At NTU he is the strategic lead for the agendas of social mobility and widening participation and his responsibilities include data analysis; research and evaluation; learner analytics; outreach across the student lifecycle; community engagement and volunteering.
His department’s programmes of activity are centred on the importance of participation in and developing a sense of connectivity to your communities. They use data and research to back purposeful action and provision, underpinned by pedagogical practices.
