Andrew Cox is a senior lecturer at the Information School, University of Sheffield, a world leading centre of interdisciplinary scholarship and teaching in information and data science. His research examines the response of the information profession to contemporary societal challenges such as the impact of new technologies, increasing managerialism, datafication, changing conceptualisations of learning and a perceived crisis in mental health and wellbeing.
