Renanda is a final-year undergraduate communications student at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung. Media literacy has always been her interest and passion. It has led her to be a junior fact-checker at MAFINDO since July 2020. Besides her responsibility to verify misinformation on social media, as a fact-checker, she educates society on how to fight hoaxes through workshops and seminars. In May 2021, UNICEF featured Renanda's story in tackling COVID-19 misinformation. As Indonesia's representative, she was also a finalist in the Asia Pacific University Verification Challenge held by Google News Initiative in September 2021.
