Sterling is the Strategic Lead for Behavioural Insights in the public health team at London Borough of Hounslow. She gained her Masters in Behaviour Change from University College London and has been working in Hounslow for three years.  

In her role in Hounslow, she uses behavioural science methods to gather insights and design appropriate interventions to improve services and health outcomes. Through training and joint working, she also enables the team, wider council, and integrated care health partners to adopt behavioural science as a core strategic tool for solving local issues and delivering positive outcomes for Hounslow residents.  

Throughout the pandemic, Sterling has lead projects applying behavioural insights to the COVID-19 response and vaccine roll-out working to reduce inequalities in Hounslow.
