Karina has more than 10 years’ experience of working directly with people impacted by violence and exploitation; starting within the prison system and later within the voluntary sector with high-risk victims and children of domestic abuse and exploitation, as well as the perpetrators supporting Police forces and Safeguarding pilot models. Karina went on to work within Local Government, leading community safety initiatives locally as well as leading pan London initiatives around county lines. Karina has since used her pan London knowledge and experience from her career and collaborations to date, to develop into the role as Director of Strategy and Operations within London’s VRU.
