Lucy Hadley is Head of Policy at Women's Aid Federation of England, the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. She leads the charity's policy development - including the funding and commissioning challenges facing local specialist domestic abuse services and safety in the family courts. She previously oversaw Women’s Aid’s work to influence the landmark Domestic Abuse Act, securing a number of amendments to improve responses to survivors and specialist domestic abuse services. Lucy has previously led the charity’s engagement within government and parliament and regularly represents Women’s Aid in broadcast media. Lucy previously held policy advisor and development roles for a Member of Parliament, within local government and in an international NGO.
