David is a recognised business leader, with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing in the building products sector. From 2012-2020 he was the CEO of Baxi Heating and prior to that the MD of Pilkington in UK and Southern Europe. He has significant international experience having lived and worked in Spain and Sweden as well as operating across Europe in a variety of senior roles, including as president of Pilkington Polska. David is now the executive chair of Mixergy (a cleantech scale up company) and holds several positions on construction industry bodies. He is currently the chair of the Green Construction Board; working with BEIS, MHCLG and DEFRA to help shape policy and deliver clean growth and net zero and a member of the Construction Leadership Council Task Force. David is supporting the work of the CLC to deliver CO2nstruct Zero and is a member of the programme board.
