Neil Kenny is Lead Fellow for Languages at the British Academy, the UK’s national academy for the arts and social sciences. The Academy takes an active interest in language policy, publishing for example, together with four partner organisations, Towards a National Languages Strategy in 2020. Neil is also Professor of French at the University of Oxford and Senior Research Fellow at All Souls College, Oxford, having previously taught at other universities.
