Louise Glen is a passionate exponent of language learning.  She worked for over 20 years as a teacher of German and French, as a Head of modern languages and as a Depute Headteacher. She studied German , French, Spanish and Education at the University of Stirling, during which time she lived and worked in Hanover, Augsburg and Strasbourg. She joined Education Scotland as a Senior Education Officer in June 2013, where her role includes providing national curricular support , advice and guidance on languages policy.
