Since joining the NHS, some 20 years ago Ian has become a passionate advocate for using ICT in HealthCare to enable and drive organisational transformation, During his 18 years at St George’s Hospital in SW London, he has led several Trust-wide change programmes, developing both the strategic case for change and a change, risk and programme governance capability.  In recent years he has led the adoption of Patient Portals & the NHS App across SW London, and continues to the lead the programme for the ICB.  He continue to be an advocate for the wide spread transformation of clinical services, by engaging the patient via the portals and automating administration processes within Hospitals.  Previously,  Ian’s experience of complex procurement exercises and many years of managing an independent software development and consultancy company give him a unique insight to both supplier and customer perspectives.
