Jeremy Crook OBE is the Chief Executive of the Black Training and Enterprise Group, national charity that works to improve outcomes for black, Asian and Mixed heritage young people in education, employment and the criminal justice system. He has over 35 years’ experience of promoting diversity and inclusion and developing practical solutions in the public, private and civil society sector. BTEG supports: Routes2Success and Moving on Up programmes that help black and Asian young people to succeed in education and employment; and EQUAL National Independent Advisory Group that campaigns to improve outcomes for BAME and Muslim groups in the criminal justice system. Jeremy has served on a wide range of Government advisory groups including the Cabinet Office’s Race Disparity Unit Advisory Group. Currently, chair’s the DfE’s Apprenticeship D&I Advisory Group, and a member of the Met Police’s External Advisory Board and Lewis Hamilton Commission.
