After working for a decade as an information security specialist, remote access solution architect and cyber security consultant for some of the UK's largest organisations, including both the BBC and the NHS, Jonathan launched a company in 2012 specialising in cyber security and forensic investigation. Jonathan invented the software systems behind 2 of the UK government's most successful public cyber security schemes - Cyber Essentials and Police CyberAlarm - which both help small and medium enterprises to improve their cyber security. Jonathan is also a volunteer cyber investigator for the UK Police, helping to investigate cyber crimes and locate cyber criminals on both the clearweb and the darkweb. Most recently, Jonathan has launched a new platform - Cyber Toolkit - which makes an arsenal of Cyber Security and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools available free-of-charge via an easy-to-use, mobile-ready web portal.
